Despite being on medical leave following open-heart surgery, our dredging pastor was able to take part in the “Volle Bak” (Full Steam Ahead) church service on Sunday afternoon, 6 July. For the fourth consecutive year, this service marked the conclusion of the multi-day Dredging Festival in Sliedrecht.

Although rain initially raised concerns about attendance, those fears proved unfounded. Doctor Langeveldplein filled with a large audience who were immersed in the musical story of Esther. Between the musical performances, Stefan served as the narrator, guiding the audience through the story.
