The SPWO Board is pleased to welcome Erwin Holterhues as its newest board member. Erwin joins the Board as a representative of the Dutch Association of Dredging Contractors (Vereniging van Waterbouwers), filling the vacancy created by the departure of Henry Bleker. We are delighted to welcome him and look forward to working together in support of SPWO’s mission.
Since 15 November 2023, Erwin Holterhues has been serving as Advisor for Employment Conditions and Social Affairs at the Dutch Association of Dredging Contractors (Vereniging van Waterbouwers). In this role, he is responsible for a broad range of employment and social policy matters, including the collective labour agreements (CAOs) for the construction and dredging sectors, lifelong learning and professional development, maritime education, pension schemes, and translating current and forthcoming maritime and social legislation into practical implications for the dredging industry.
Erwin brings extensive experience in working for industry associations and has broad expertise in employment conditions and labor relations, pension schemes, lifelong learning and professional development, and representing the interests of the sector.
