During the SPWO conference, the “Practical Guide for Care after High Mental Impact Situations (HiMIS)” was formally presented to SPWO Chairman Govert van Oord and Honorary Chairman Joep Athmer.
The guide provides practical guidance for shipboard management, project management, and human resources professionals in delivering effective initial psychosocial support following a high-impact incident on board a vessel or at a project site.
Over the coming months, the guide will be distributed to companies throughout the dredging and offshore industry. It is also available as a digital publication.
